Now that Beyonce's father officially confirmed that Beyonce finally birthed the twins, we are anxiously awaiting Jay-Z and her response. Several celebrity news websites reported this on Saturday, citing unidentified sources.

Beyonce gave birth to her first child, Blue Ivy Carter, on January 7, 2012, a Saturday.

In true Beyonce fashion, she announced her pregnancy with a surprise Instagram post in February, dropping a picture of herself draped in a light-green veil and surrounded by flowers.

According to Us Weekly, the Carters welcomed the twins earlier this week. Additionally, many people believed that it wasn't Knowles' father's place to report the news. Sources claim that Blue Ivy has met Beyonce and Jay Z's newest little bundles of joy and is disappointed that the twins aren't allowed to come home yet. It also broke records for the most-liked photo on Instagram.

From there, Beyoncé posted a series of pregnancy photoshoots and performed during the Grammy's with her baby bump visible for all to see.

The birth of Blue Ivy caused a paparazzi storm in 2012, with New York's Lenox Hill hospital shutting down part of its maternity wing to accommodate music's royal couple. However, she is said to already "adore" her new little brother and sister, already be very protective over her new siblings. The lyrics of several songs spoke about being cheated on, and regretting being married.

Beyonce and Jay-Z made no comments at the moment. The couple have never addressed the rumors publicly.
