Prior to his one year stint with HScott Motorsports in 2016 that resulted in finishes of 23rd and 40th, Bowyer had nine top-10 finishes in 10 races at MI.
The 200-lap race will consist of three stages of 60, 60 and 80 laps. The Truck Series will be anywhere from two to four short of its 32-driver grid while the XFINITY Series needed start-and-park entries to fill its field of 40.
