This was as bad as most people would've expected. Brock Lesnar had arguably his best match of the last few years, and WWE potentially executed an actual Roman Reigns heel turn. In fact, if Neville be able to Win His Title Back at this Event, there won't be a rematch match at Summer slam.
WWE Great Balls of Fire 2017 starts off at 8 p.m. EDT of July 9 on the WWE Network.
Brock Lesnar returns to defend his Universal Championship against Samoa Joe, and on the undercard, once teammates Enzo Amore and Big Cass face each other in the ring after breaking up as a tag team. However, it was a slow and plodding match which saw Lesnar mostly dominate Taker. The post match double knee press off the stage looked risky and one can only hope that Bliss walked away without any significant damage. I repeat: Roman Reigns tried to murder Braun Strowman and then ran away when the crime was done.
It was a near flawless contest, which made Joe look like a true destroyer, protected him even in defeat and left fans begging for more ahead of a rematch. We probably don't ever need to see this match again but this was far better than their Steel Cage match.
Ambulance Match - Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman: This could be the match of the night as these two have had great matches in the past.
Great Balls of Fire takes place at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
This was up for consideration for match of the night. He also challenged him to an ambulance match at the PPV.
Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks really looked like they were beating the hell out of each other, which helps play on the rumors that the two genuinely don't like each other.
Rollins is even on the cover of WWE 2K18, which is the reason I am picking him to win and hand Wyatt yet another loss on pay-per-view. This was the 10th one-on-one meeting between Miz and Ambrose, and it would seem that it's time for both superstars to move on to something else, something fresh and exciting. Ambrose was unable to win after hitting Dirty Deeds because Maryse put her husband's leg on the rope. Despite the latter's fighting spirit and comeback, Miz beat his opponent by a pinfall to retain the title.
On that note, The Hardyz seek vindication as well for falling seconds short from tying the match but had they tied the score in their Iron Man Match, Sheamus and Cesaro would still keep their titles. Unfortunately Cesaro was the legal man, and he was able to rollup Hardy for a pin, despite it looking like Jeff got his shoulders up on several occasions during the pin.
Enzo delivered a strong promo before the match began, but it was all Big Cass once the opening bell rang.
Since the match was well-received by the majority of viewers, it would seem as it WWE will decide to continue the feud with Lesnar leading to SummerSlam. This is because Austin Aries recently got released from the company.
Raw is suffering without having a regular champion on TV, and the belt needs to come off Lesnar, but Joe will not get the job done here.
