South Korea's LG Electronics Inc. will be releasing affordable versions to the latest flagship G6 amid disappointing retail response to its new spec-packed premium phone released in April.
The phone weighs around 149 grams and has Android 7.1.1 Nougat as its OS. In this case, the Q6 posted a single-core score of 622 and a multi-core score of 1,777, neither of which are record-breaking metrics by any stretch. At first, the new LG Q6 and its sibling will land in select markets in Asia.
The Seoul company recently unveiled three new cellphone models, namely the LG Q6, Q6+, and the LG Q6a. It is available in six colour options, features a premium metal and glass build and it is IP68 water and dust resistant. It is said to come with a 5.3-inch Infinity display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. The LG Q6a will be available in Terra Gold shading variation as well. However, until LG officially announces the price of the handsets your guess is just as good as anyone else's. The UAE availability of the LG Q6 series is not known for now. There is no word on the pricing of the smartphones yet. LG has not included a fingerprint sensor on this phone. Q6 Plus comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, Q6 has 3GB RAM and 32GB storage and the Q6a comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. While these devices come with the same and display size, they differ in the internal memory capacity and RAM. The short teaser video is accompanied by text that says, "A full, exQuisite view is what you need".
The company is also offering multiple color options.
The Q6 will become official at an event tomorrow in Poland. LG has also added a facial recognition feature to unlock the smartphone, and a 3000mAh battery backs the entire package. When we convert the currency to USD, this translates roughly to $363 and $433.
LG has launched their three new smartphones called LG Q6, LG Q6 Plus and LG Q6a quite unexpectedly. The smartphones come with the company's FullVision display. But, that didn't happen. Also, G6 Mini has 3,000mAh battery.
