When is it out?

While a small percent of rumors have suggested otherwise, being the flagship, Galaxy Note 8 should be the first Samsung device to come with a dual camera setup. We will keep you posted as and when it happens. Alleged Samsung Galaxy X runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

Samsung Electro-Mechanics has all but confirmed the details of how the dual-lens camera on the Galaxy Note 8 will execute its functions. It's also apparently clad in tough Gorilla Glass 5 and is shatter-resistant. It's not evident yet if the S8 Active will be sold with Dual-SIM slots. The screen definitely has lesser bezels as the original Galaxy S8.

Samsung is of course due to release the Note 8 next month.

The earlier leaked user manual already hinted as much. The ruggedness of the device is said to be IP68 and MIL-STD-810G certified and with a durable metal frame. This is a MIL-STD-810G endurance rating, which means that it can tolerate harsh weather conditions and will be able to put up with mechanical damage and shocks to a certain level. They also leaked the gold copper colour. We have seen a number of leaks of one more phone, Galaxy S8 Active as well.

The smartphone will be available in two color variant- Meteor Gray and Titanium Gold.

Speaking of the battery, the enhanced version of the Galaxy S8 packs a larger 4000mAh cell. This hints at a bigger display than the S8 series of phones. One runs on an Exynos 8895 processor, 2 run on a Snapdragon SoC, and the last is a display-only model without any wireless capabilities.

According to numerous reports that surfaced online in recent months, the US variant of the Galaxy Note 8 will be powered by the Qualcomm-made Snapdragon 835 system-on-chip (SoC), whereas other models are set to feature Samsung's own Exynos 8895 silicon.
