Chris Pratt and Anna Faris announced their separation on Sunday - leaving people wondering why. Although the two were very affectionate and happy when they were together, the long periods of time apart were especially hard for Anna, something she acknowledged on her podcast, Anna Faris is Unqualified, not long ago. "We still love each other and will always cherish our time together".
The pair, who were the very picture of the flawless down-to-earth Hollywood couple, would, according to Anna, often laugh and shrug off any tabloid rumors: "I'm really lucky that I have Chris and we laugh a lot about stupid stuff".
Not offering a clarification, or revealing the reason, sources close to the couple share that the decision to separate has crushed them both.
While her day job is as an actor on the sitcom Mom, Faris also hosts her own podcast, Anna Faris is Unqualified.
After eight years of marriage, TMZ report that their different family values were to blame and that 40-year-old Anna wanted to expand their brood. "With that being said, I do feel like when I get upset, which is rare as my husband and family would say, I have a hard time letting go". "Chris wanted Anna on [set with him] whenever possible".
Anna Faris and Chris Pratt with their son Jack in April 2017 to celebrate Pratt's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Back then, Faris' career was more successful than Pratt's. This isn't the first time Jennifer has been involved in the breakdown of Chris and Anna's relationship. She said that it was "weirdly stinging" and took them by surprise because they have always had such a good relationship.
While they seemingly had the ideal marriage, Anna also candidly revealed it wasn't flawless and she struggled to address issues. "But I also think that for us, our best date is an afternoon at our Washington home".
