Brar told RT's Alex Rubenstein that he hatched the plan to bring his "chicken Don" to DC in March.

The balloon was set up by documentary filmmaker Taran Singh Brar to protest the president "being a weak and ineffective leader".

Your afternoon shot of politics, sent straight from the desk of Joshua Miller.

He said he spent hours studying CNN and other cable news channels that used the same shot with the White House in the foreground and the Washington Monument in the background.

Jim Carafano, a Heritage Foundation scholar who advised Trump's transition team on foreign policy, said the messages conveyed to North Korea were aimed at different audiences: Trump to the American people, Tillerson to the diplomatic community and Mattis to the military establishment. When he finished the 3-D design and sold it to them, it was months before he saw what they did with it: a 30-foot sculpture outside a new mall near Beijing.

The US President, however, missed "Trump chicken" as he is away on his "working vacation" at his golf course in Bedminster, New Jersey, something that probably the protest easier.

"Sell now Custom made 10 feet portable inflatable Donald trump chicken mascot golden hair", which is a giant inflatable chicken with close resemblance to the USA president, on its site that can be bought for $500.

Or if you're an anti-Trumpist Chicagoan, you might have actually directly participated in a previous Brar production: He was one of the co-organizer's behind the Chicago satellite of the this year's Tax March protest.

President Trump is not now at the White House. Brar says he's already at work securing a permit, and he's in talks with the artist who designed Chicken Don for the balloon weaponry.

"Shep, it appears to be a very large chicken display", said Lederman.
