Showers and thunderstorms will pop up the next couple of afternoons, with a few strong storms possible. The activity is most widespread during the mid-afternoon to evening hours.
The complex will move southeast across the state and flooding is possible.

Saturday, there will be a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m., with a high near 80, the weather service said. This morning still had some leftover rain showers around, but it will be smooth sailing the rest of the day. Showers and thunderstorms pop up during the afternoon. Storms could dump 1 to 2 inches of rain in a short period of time in spots that see the heaviest which will be in a few localized spots. High: Upper 70s - low 80s. A shower or two may develop early Thursday morning, but most will stay dry.
