West Bromwich Albion signed left back Kieran Gibbs from Arsenal on Wednesday and agreed to a season-long loan for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak.

Watford have reportedly seen talks break down for Arsenal defender Kieran Gibbs, despite the two clubs agreeing a seven-figure fee for the England global. The arrival of Sead Kolasinac in June meant minutes were even less likely to be on the cards for Gibbs this season.

Alexis Sanchez is another Arsenal player who has less than a year remaining on his contract and has been consistently associated with a summer transfer.

"Kieran's a good age and has made over 200 appearances for Arsenal, represented his country and has Premier League and Champions League experience". The England global is said to have completed his medical and agreed a contract with the Baggies.

The news comes as a blow to Galatasaray who were also in talks with the England worldwide.

West Brom confirmed the transfer on their official website. According to reports, the Baggies will pay a fee of £5 million for the defender, with Gibbs set to have a medical at the club later today.

As far Arsenal's defense is concerned, Wenger has got stars like Mustafi, Monreal, Mertesacker, Koscielny and Holding that he mainly uses in his three man back line.

West Brom are pushing City to send Eliaquim Mangala to them, and whilst City are happy to do that - on-loan - the player himself would rather move overseas.
