Other verified sources for charitable giving for the relief effort can be found here, and people can visit give.org to review the Better Business Bureau Charity Report to verify that a charity meets bureau standards for accountability.
In all, Charitywatch lists 12 nationally established organizations involved in the Harvey relief that it deems reliable, including the American Red Cross. "They are running out of food in those areas right now".
