Darci responded by suggesting Edna sing Cowell a song. The American Idol victor then took to the stage and performed a new song called Love So Soft.

Diavolo and Light Balance perform a special act together for the finale. The former did one of their previous routines to the music stylings of Harry Styles. Light Balance has not struggled one bit and has been flawless. AGT needs Nick back or someone very much like him, much more than another season of Tyra.

The finale featured performances from James Arthur, Kelly Clarkson and Shania Twain.

Technically, she also competed as a singer since it is her voice behind her puppets.

The girl continued to top herself, bringing out both her bunny diva Petunia and her mousy blues belter Oscar so she could sing both parts of a show-stopping puppet duet of The Beatles classic "With a Little Help from My Friends" on Tuesday's finals performance. Kechi, who is one of the two survivors, has undergone over 100 surgeries but in all of it, was kept alive by her mother's love and the love for singing.

In a pre-taped segment that felt a lot like something Louis C.K. would do, the three comedians met up at the Laugh Factory and talked about what it takes to make it in the comedy business.

According to IB Times, 13-year-old singing ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer and 10-year-old singer Angelica Hale are the clear frontrunners of the competition. Season two victor and fellow ventriloquist/singer Terry Fator is considered the most successful Vegas act to come out of the show.

Host Tyra Banks said AGT had its biggest vote in history during final-round performances Tuesday night. Sarah and Hero, the feel-good twosome that Simon saved earlier in the competition from elimination, left in fifth place.

Manuel Agnelli, the vocalist of the Italian rock band Afterhours, told his fellow judges: "I'm impressed by how young she is - by how far she can go from here on".

After being crowned the victor, Darci spoke with KFOR's Linda Cavanaugh and Kevin Ogle about that special moment. Congratulations to the victor and I'll see you next summer, AGT!
