"The U" can't be "back" if its in uncharted territory.

And after a 20-yard touchdown pass from James Blackman to Auden Tate with just 1:04 left to play to put the Seminoles up 20-17, Florida State had a chance to tie the 62-game series at 31 wins apiece with an eighth straight win over the Hurricanes. Berrios scores his second touchdown of the game on a 6-yard catch. Due to Miami's lack of offense, they totaled 57 yards and zero points in the first half for the first time since 2015.

CINCINNATI - McKenzie Milton threw a career-high 5 touchdown passes - 4 in the first half - and Tre'Quan Smith scored 4 times as No. 25 Central Florida rolled to a storm-shortened victory over Cincinnati in the Knights' first game as a ranked team since 2013.

Rosier took a major step in development with a huge victory on the road, especially in the second half.

"He's just great, man".

For some reason, with just two games behind each team, a consensus had been formed that Miami was good and Florida State was not. The Cavaliers (3-1) have averaged 40 points in their last two games and QB Kurt Benkert has 10 touchdown passes with one interception while averaging 312 yards passing - second only to Louisville's Lamar Jackson.

"We had some opportunities in the first half on offense", said FSU coach Jimbo Fisher. It will be the first time since 2012 that the teams have met. Hurricanes have also let Akers and Patrick run for multiple rushes without initial contact.

Miami second-year head coach Mark Richt was going to enjoy this one.

"I know it's a type of surgery that guys that have had it have recovered 100 percent and haven't had an issue with that type of thing again", Richt said. FSU ran only 11 plays in the third period, which ended with Miami up 10-3. "I'm probably most happy for them".

Alabama (6-0, 3-0) had rolled past Vanderbilt and MS by a combined scored of 125-3 over the last two weeks, but got much more of a test from the young Aggies. Initially ruled a touchdown, the play was reviewed to see if Langham's knee hit the ground before the football broke the plane. Some online fans wailed about his dropped touchdown against FSU in 2014, and moaned when he was tripped up by FSU's punter on a 43-yard, fourth-quarter punt return that set up the tying touchdown in last year's game. Playing behind stars like Phillip Dorsett, Stacy Coley, David Njoku and a year ago, freshman sensation Ahmmon Richards, Berrios finished with 12 catches for 86 yards in 2015, and 12 for 178 and two scores in 2016. Now, with a Miami team that's legitimately talented, the winds at their back.

Miami had known nothing but heartbreak against Florida State in recent years.

Blackman, who was 8 of 18 for 61 yards and two interceptions in the first three quarters, was 9 of 10 for 142 yards over the final 15 minutes.

The senior came to play in his final game against FSU.

Florida State kicker Ricky Aguayo gave the Seminoles the lead at 13-10 with a 38-yarder with 6:55 left.

While the FSU defense was so good in the first half, they had no answers for Rosier and his corps of receivers late in the game.

Miami made halftime adjustments and found ways to get wide receiver Ahmmon Richards open more. "We were thinking turnover or negative plays".

NOTES: Saturday's attendance was 78,169. Al Golden couldn't do in four seasons what Mark Richt just did in two, beat the 'Noles.
