'House of Cards' Falls From Netflix's Signature Show to a Massive Uncertainty

EXCLUSIVE: Kevin Spacey has entered the sex addiction rehab program at The Meadows clinic in Arizona - the SAME clinic where Harvey Weinstein has been getting treatment

It seems that less than a week after Star Trek: Discovery actor Anthony Rapp publicly accused actor Kevin Spacey of sexual advance, Netflix, the company that owns his Emmy-winning series House of Cards, has decided to sever ties with him. One intrepid fan named Robbie Pyma started a petition to replace Spacey on House of Cards with Kevin James.

A representative for Spacey said last week that the star was taking time out in the wake of the allegations.

MRC said in a statement, ABC7 reported: "While we continue the ongoing investigation into the serious allegations concerning Kevin Spacey's behavior on the set of 'House of Cards, ' he has been suspended, effective immediately". One concept revolves around Doug Stamper, the political aide-de-camp played by actor Michael Kelly, with Eric Roth set to write.

Another option would be for Netflix to fast-track one of several "House of Cards" spinoffs it has in early stages of development.

Just imagine James delivering monologues about the dark side of politics directly to the camera and try not to smile. His father was rehearsing for the play "Complicit" at the Old Vic theater in the same room when Spacey allegedly fondled Dreyfuss' thigh and grabbed his crotch. It also says it will no longer release Gore, a film about the writer Gore Vidal in which Spacey stars.

Meadows claims to have the best sex addiction programme in the US and has treated A-listers Tiger Woods, Kate Moss and Selena Gomez. However, it quickly ended after a visit to the actor's apartment when he claims Spacey tried to rape him, The Independent reports. Thus the Weinstein fiasco has quickly metastasized into a career-killing cancer (for Weinstein) that now features accusations from more than 40 women, including a potential rape charge in New York.

It was the exposé published in the New York Times about Harvey Weinstein's alleged sexual predator behaviour that shone a light on the industry's behaviour. "He was telling me to come with him, to leave the bar".

One account alleged Spacey put his hands down a staffer's pants.

Montana said Spacey then told him, "This designates ownership".

Spacey said he didn't remember that encounter, but he apologized. I lifted up my head and faced him. Because everyone has done wrong before, it's going to be pretty difficult to find anyone worthy of creating art. If we shut out any artist who has ever lied, driven drunk, or called someone a mean name, then we're left with Mother Theresa starring in all our movies.

Montana said he had post-traumatic stress disorder for six months afterward.
