The phone is also said to get rid of the Touch ID feature which will lead to reduction of bezels on the LCD screen. That device would likely come in at a $650-$750 price range while still featuring Face ID and improved cameras.
Kuo sourced Apple's proposed plans to introduce 3 new iPhone's from website that aggregates Mac and Apple reports and rumours, MacRumors. Unfortunately, after the two smart phones were dropped from a higher vantage point, the damage to the units not only became greater but also more evident.
That device is expected to have its own display and processor, and run its own platform, internally nicknamed "rOS". The design looks similar to the current generation iPhone X. Apple's previous smartphones are evidence enough that even next year the company will go with the same design. According to him, like this year, Apple will announce 2018's iPhones without any delays.
It has just been a little over month since the launch of iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X. And, already rumors centering the iPhones that will be launched in 2018 has started.More news: Agent: Lacazette happy at Arsenal and has no plans to confront Wenger
We already know about the standard iPhone X with the 5.7-inch OLED screen. As per the report by KGI securities, this model might be the lowest priced variant and cost somewhere around $649-$749.
As of now, there is a long way to go for the next iPhone event and this report must be taken with a pinch of salt.
The three iPhones - iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus - were unveiled at an event on Apple's new campus, at the Steve Jobs Theater. However, Kuo added that there will be a third iPhone model that will also have the bezel-less design introduced in the iPhone X. This third model is vastly different, though, as instead of OLED, it will have a 6.1-inch LCD screen with lower resolution. Apple itself has not acknowledged the crackling sound issue with the iPhone X yet.
Kuo said the new models will drive a "real super-cycle in terms of iPhone replacement demand", and is predicting that 100-120 million iPhones will be assembled in the latter part of 2018. Both phones would have OLED screens.
