We urge all who attend the Community Thanksgiving Day Dinner at Elks Lodge 1599 to be thankful for sharing and give what they can to benefit others throughout the year. Yet even they have something in which to be thankful.
It's Thanksgiving and I am thankful for my family, friends, and health. In that vein, I am thankful for... "Nana and Papa, because he's a good fixer".
We're thankful to the United Way of Payne County, Our Daily Bread and the countless charities, civic clubs and volunteers we have here. Without that, we can't do anything.
