Liverpool and Arsenal target Thomas Lemar could leave Monaco in the current window and both Premier League clubs have been handed a boost.

That is reportedly if Chilean worldwide Sanchez can engineer his £20m switch to the Premier League leaders.

Both Liverpool and Arsenal were close to a deal on deadline day during the summer with the Gunners even making a £90 million bid for the attacker. "This is life. For sure he was our target but as you know this is football".

"Things happen that even a club like Monaco can not say no to".

The Monaco sensation has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool in recent months. Everything can change. The things I can say today are not true tomorrow.

Reports of the Reds' interest in Lemar have been wildly contrasting since Philippe Coutinho's £142 million move to Barcelona. However, the 22-year old has struggled to reproduce that form once again this term.

Lemar, a France worldwide, was one of Monaco's best players alongside the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Bernardo Silva last season, when they managed to win the Ligue 1 title.

With so much money recouped from the sale of Coutinho, it'd be no surprise if Liverpool reignited their interest in the player.

Monaco have already sold Kylian Mbappe, Bernardo Silva and Benjamin Mendy in recent months, and Lemar is one of their most pursued stars.

With Coutinho gone and Arsenal heavily reliant on Özil to provide creativity, Lemar's invention from any attacking position would give either side an added dimension to their play.

If Arsenal or Liverpool want to land the highly talented forward this month then they may have to splash out £90 million or more.
