The tech giant said the new Xperia XZ2 was meant as an "immersive entertainment device".
Disclosure - Our coverage of MWC 2018 was sponsored by Intel who covered the cost of our flights and accommodation. Of course, the size of the display is different; while the Sony Xperia XZ2 comes with a 5inch display, the one on the Xperia XZ2 Compact is 5.7 inches. It's Sony's first 18:9 device, and features relatively slimmer side bezels. The displays on both the devices come with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. For Graphics it has a Adreno 630 GPU.
Both the XZ2 and XZ2 Compact will be available globally in March 2018 and, since they're shipping with Oreo, you can expect Treble support. Xperia's useful battery features are also included, such as Smart Stamina, STAMINA mode, Battery Care and Qnovo Adaptive Charging technology, which help the battery stay healthy for a longer lifespan.

On first impressions, it seems as though that scanner might be a little low down for you to comfortably reach, but that's the kind of thing we won't be able to be sure of until spending some time with Sony's latest and greatest.
In addition to new phones, Sony introduced its Xperia Ear Duo, a "highly anticipated" wireless open-ear stereo headset that promises to play back music and notifications at the same time.
Powering it all is a 3180 mAh battery on the XZ2 and 2870 mAh on the XZ2 compact. On the connectivity front, the smartphone offers hybrid Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 5, GPS, USB 3.1 Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack and NFC.
The XZ2 comes in color options of Black Liquid, Liquid Silver, Deep Green and Ash Pink, and will retail with an MSRP of €799. Sadly, there is no any further information about the pricing and the availability of this phone available at this moment.
The Xperia XZ2 Compact is a cheaper and smaller version of the XZ2. It comes with an aspect ratio of 18:9. Audio is conducted directly into your ear from the under-ear lozenges, while the "ring supporter", as you can see from the pics, actually has a hole in it, so the world around you remains audible.
The Xperia XZ2 is the true flagship for the company, offering a 5.7-inch 2160 x 1080 display. Sony even aligned the camera towards the center rather than in the corner, which is a wise decision for a better feel of the device. For selfies, you get a wide-angle 5 MP camera. Both are full HD+ displays. Both the Xperia smartphones come with Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, WiFI, and Global Positioning System.
