Last time on SO OF COURSE, RAW hosted its pit-stop on the road to WrestleMania, code-named Elimination Chamber (now in cubical form). As for RAW Tag Team Champions Sheamus and Cesaro, their match isn't quite as obvious, but a match against The Revival could be entertaining. Or maybe tonight will be the night of "The Yep Movement", with either Kevin Owens or Sami Zayn capturing the WWE Championship on route to WrestleMania. Tyler tags back in and hits a series of dropkicks before they clear the ring.
WHAT IT IS: The SmackDown roster held a vote as to (paraphrasing) who they thought were the best or something. While WWE may very well be discussing a return to the company with Rey, I doubt that a match against Cena is a serious consideration for the show. The Blue Brand is definitely trailing when it comes to resources to build their show. Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Styles is indeed a dream match and a New Japan rematch that fans have been wanting to see since both of their debuts.
Xavier Woods has suffered an injury to his thoracic spine due to The Bludgeon Brothers' brutal attack during the SmackDown Tag Team Title Match at WWE Fastlane, WWE.com can confirm.
The end of the match featured both Owens and Zayn starring down McMahon and Cena looking disappointed in the corner as Styles celebrated in the ring. I think I was dreading watching this many guys in a match because there weren't any elimination stips. The reality is that he's one of the champions with the best odds to leave Fastlane with his belt.
Jinder (who?) Mahal made fun of Randy Orton's low ranking at number 9 and Roode's...fine-enough ranking at #5...what the heck is your point Mahal? He said that he was upset not to get a shot at the WWE US Championship.
While Natalya distracts the referee with the Money in the Bank briefcase, Becky Lynch has to knock her off of the apron.
The 2018 Royal Rumble victor will be going up against Rusev, who challenged him on the latest episode of WWE SmackDown. Rusev appeared to have the match won late after Nakamura walked into a Machka Kick for two.
Everyone seems to think that Asuka is going to challenge Alexa Bliss at Wrestlemania, even though she has never officially chosen.
Last year, the Usos and the New Day had the best rivalry of the year.
The Usos have defeated almost everyone on the tag team division but The New Day is a tough challenge. Or everyone else, really. Just the fact that they would do this match is mind-blowing for some. Rare is the world championship that changes hands a month before WrestleMania; the only example that comes to mind, really, is Eddie Guerrero beating Brock Lesnar at No Way Out 2004, or Goldberg beating Kevin Owens at Fastlane past year. Can you imagine AJ Styles losing the title right before WrestleMania 34?
