Four members of a Valencia family on a trip from Portland, Oregon, to San Jose have been reported missing by a relative, it was reported Tuesday.
A body was found floating in the surf near the area where a family crashed last month. He was officially charged with two counts of aggravated murder, aggravated kidnapping, and desecration of a dead human body.
With a baby on the way, one family looked on at the place they called home for the past 11 years.
"People thought, she's coming to his birthday parties, and we have pictures of all of us together at the birthday party, and that's the way it will be", Phipps said. "We used to box when he was younger".
When Cheryl went to MS for training for a few weeks in January, the family's hair dresser - who they've known since they moved to Omaha in 2008 - taught him how to use a straightening iron on Teegan's hair. The girl, P Divya, has not left behind any death note, but according to a complaint filed by her aunt, Shwetha, Divya was being harassed by a man, who she and her family had met for a marriage proposal.
Both Shumlanski and the Dahlgrens expressed crushing grief at the loss of those who they called "brothers".
That's why it's so hard for Osborn to believe anyone could have murdered his son-especially so-called friends.
On Sunday, April 1, California Highway Patrol investigators said they had reason to believe the crash was intentional.
"I think you should be his mother", Snipes said. You know, but it's probably never going to go away. He felt the love and support that this community had shown us, and he found comfort in knowing that said love and support would continue to hold our family together in the future as well.
Osborn, Sr. says he just hopes justice will be served. "My husband is a great dad and will do whatever it takes to ensure our kids are happy and taken care of".
The Osborn family tells WAAY 31 they've set up a memorial fund in Daniel Jr.'s name.
"It was heartwarming to see the lengths people will go to for our next generation, we couldn't be any more grateful to them all".
