Strong winds will develop today and last through Sunday, with showers and thunderstorms today, a wintry mix and icy conditions on Saturday, and accumulating snow through Sunday.
In the Tampa Bay area, the timing looks to be sometime from late morning to mid to late afternoon. It will be windy, with a risk of stronger winds with the storms. Winds remain strong, with gusts of 40 to 50 miles per hour, and the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls says the winds will only slowly subside. "Pick up any lightweight objects around the yard and use caution on the roads".
