The suspect, 29-year-old Travis Reinking, was detained in July 2017 if you are in an restricted location near the White House, researchers demonstrated in a Sunday news conference, declaring he "required to set up a gathering" with President Trump.
Police are calling James Shaw Jr. a hero for saving lives in the busy restaurant, but the 29-year-old Nashville resident said he only made a split-second decision to do all he could to challenge the shooter and save himself from being killed.
The gunman shot people in the parking lot before entering the restaurant, where he continued firing until a Shaw grabbed the rifle, Nashville Police spokesman Don Aaron said. He got disarmed during scuffle with other people and ran out throwing away his clothes in the restaurant.
The suspect, believed to be Travis Reinking, 29, later removed his coat and left the scene nude, eluding police capture. A witness told police that they saw him leaving wearing only black trousers, and he is believed to be shirtless and barefoot.
"She was a brilliant young lady, very, very intelligent and a very hard worker", her high school basketball coach, Kim Kendrick, told The Tennessean.
The statement says Sanderlin and Perez were killed outside the restaurant and Dasilva was critically wounded inside and later died at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Four others were wounded by either bullets or shattered glass.
TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center spokeswoman Katie Radel in Nashville said two people were treated for minor injuries and released.

Police have not detailed a motive for the shooting.
On June 16, 2017, Reinking was accused of driving up to a local pool in Tremont Park where police state in a report that he flashed an AR-15 rifle, but then quickly stored it in his vehicle trunk. Reinking apparently wanted to report that he believed 20 to 30 people were tapping into his computer and phone.
The shooting is believed to be random, police said.
Aaron said the victims' names weren't immediately released.
Chuck Cordero told local media outlets that he saw the suspect get out of his pickup truck - almost naked - and immediately begin shooting. "I don't have a report of him saying anything else". "Just a jacket and an assault rifle", Cordero told Fox affiliate WZTV.
"He is the hero here, and no doubt he saved many lives by wrestling the gun away and then tossing it over the counter, and prompting the man to leave", Aaron said.
Tennessee authorities said Reinking could be armed with as many as two firearms.
