OnePlus 6 vs OnePlus 5T: Should you upgrade?
According to a report in news portal truetech citing an industry insider, the OnePlus 6 with 64GB and 128GB internal storage variants would cost Rs 36,999 and Rs 39,999, respectively. This means that besides China, India is very likely one of the first few countries that will see distribution of the limited edition OnePlus 6. Additionally, OnePlus 6 customers get a free 12-month accidental damage insurance from Servify. Basically, the OnePlus 6 should compete with any other top Android handset now on the market. It runs on OxygenOS 5.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system and sports a 6.28-inch Full HD+ (2280×1080 pixels) AMOLED 19:9 display with the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. The dual-camera modular at its rear comprises of a 16MP main camera with Sony IMX519 sensor, OIS, EIS and f/1.7 aperture. For snapping selfies, it features a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. Other specifications include dual SIM slot, USB Type-C port with fast charge support, WiFi ac, Bluetooth 5.0, Global Positioning System and NFC.
OnePlus is touting a Slow Motion video recording feature for the OnePlus 6, which the company says is capable of capturing 480 frames per second. There's an Iron Man themed protective case and a Captain America medal. It also features a golden Avengers logo and a gold slider on the side. The dual rear camera setup is now vertically-aligned and occupies a position at the centre of the phone.
The new smartphone is powered by Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and Adreno 630 GPU. The company has announced that users will be able to download Android P Developer's Preview from the OnePlus website soon.
