Announcing the existence of a new game and then casually dropping the "oh, and it's available right now" is one of our E3 guilty pleasures. Besides the addictive story, there will be numerous bonus challenges in Unravel 2.
Coldwood and EA made a surprise announcement at last night's EA Play event at The Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. The two Yarnys will need to support one another as they work through puzzles and explore attractive natural landscapes and intricate urban environments, Coldwood said. From the demo, it seems Unravel Two can be played in a single-player mode where both creatures are controllable. It still has the adorable pastoral aesthetic and the puzzle platforming.
Unraveled Two launches on the... oh.
For solo players, you can carry the other Yarny and use them when you need to complete specific puzzles.
Unravel 2 begins with Yarny having its string severed and losing its spark.
To further blow us away, Unravel 2 is now available on all the major marketplaces, and will take some time to appear in your marketplace.
